Ticks

Ticks are blood-suckers dwelling on grass, bushes, and trees. They perch themselves on humans mainly in rainy, wet weather. Besides humans they blood-suck domestic- and wild animals as well. Ticks spread two types of diseases: encephalitis (brain fever) and Lyme disease.
